There are 5 state funded programs in the state of Massachusetts that work in coordination with the Department of Public Health.  To enter these programs you must have an assessment of your child's needs completed.  This information needs to then be forwarded to the below organization:

The assessment can be done by the detoxification facility that your child is in.  If your child is not at and does not need this type of facility there are several outpatient facilities that you can make an appointment with and they will conduct the evaluation.  You may use the Department of Public Heath link located on this website to find the one closest to you.

Once The Institute for Health & Recovery receives this assessment they will then speak with your child directly and then coordinate the placement of your child into the program that they feel is best suited for their needs while taking into consideration your request of where you would like to have your child placed.
